5 Axis Precision Cylindrical Pinch/Peel Grinding

The NP5 is a five-axis pinch and peel grinding machine for the cylindrical grinding of carbide, HSS and stainless steel components. The machines provide high concentricity even on long and thin parts. Rough and finish grinding are performed in one pass using the peel grinding method, eliminating a separate process and reducing cycle time. Utilizing the 5th axis, we have the ability to grind flats, hexes and non-concentric cam profiles. We have the capacity to grind thousands of parts per day. 4 Tru Tech Revolution T93X 3-axis CNC perimetric profile grinders that can profile, plunge, peel in-feed and thru-feed grind. These heavy duty machines have improved runout capability and have added size capacity and flexibility to production. With stock removal of 0.100” per minute on diameters of 0.875” to 1” and can hold a tolerance of 0.000050”. Cycle times have been reduced 50%.
